Booking Terms
Prices shown are in Euro and are including VAT at the current rate. Please complete our booking form to secure your accommodation, confirmation will usually be within 24 hours.
The person who makes the booking will have to accept the terms and conditions on behalf of all other members of the party and are liable for all payments due from the said members and must be at least 18 years of age. By completing our booking form you confirm to have read and agree to our terms and conditions. All correspondence will be sent to the person making the booking.
Payment Details
A non-refundable deposit of 30% will be required to secure your accommodation. Balance will become due 10 weeks before arrival. Booking details are shown on the booking form, which you will be required to complete to secure your accommodation. If booking your accommodation within 10 weeks of departure then the full balance will become due for payment at the time of booking. If payment is not made by the due date then J. McLaren Services Ltd reserve the right to assume the booking to be cancelled. Any dishonored cheques will result in the booking being cancelled. Cancellation
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to J. McLaren Services Ltd by email, fax or post, and will be effective upon receipt by us. You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance which covers cancellation. In the unlikely event of cancellation, the following charges will be made:
- Deposit non-refundable
- If cancelled after deposit paid then no refund will be made.
- If cancelled after the balance is made then any refund will be at the discretion of J McLaren services Ltd.
Cancellation by Owner
In the unlikely event of cancellation by the owner, you will be offered the choice of another property, through us, similar in standard to the original property booked, (subject to availability) with the price payable or refundable as appropriate. No compensation payment will be made. Accommodation & Stay
Please remember that during your stay the accommodation you are renting is someone’s home and should be respected. You are responsible for any breakages, loss or damage that may occur and reimbursement will be sought at the end of your stay or deducted from your bond before reimbursement. Access to the property shall be from 16.00 hours (4pm) on the first day of rental, to 10.00 hours (10am) on the last day. Arrangements can be made to extend these times, but an extra day maybe charged. If you wish to extend the length of your stay, subject to availability we will endeavour to meet your request. Please leave accommodation in a clean and tidy condition, put out waste items, make sure air condition units and lights are turned off and property locked and secured. If you wish to change your holiday arrangements we will try to help with this but will have to make a charge of €30 for administration. Only the people stated on the booking form are permitted to stay in the accommodation unless previously agreed by us in writing and paid for. Health & Safety
Every care is taken to ensure the safety of the property and all its appliances. However, the company cannot accept any responsibility for any ill health or sickness during your stay whilst renting a property through J. McLaren Services Ltd.
PLEASE BE AWARE –
Pool - Please be careful around the pool area, this may be slippery and an accident can easily happen if care is not taken. Do not leave children unattended in the pool and read and observe the pool rules and restrictions.
Glass doors - Patio doors can be easily mistaken as open and therefore be walked into, some homes will not have stickers on doors so it is strongly recommended to be careful and to make sure children do not run in and out of them. Floors - These can become very slippery when wet so please be extra careful when returning in from the pool area and keep the floor as dry as possible. Stairways – May also become slippery if wet and care should be taken when using in holiday footwear. Glassware – Glasses are easily broken especially if taken outside onto the patio or pool area, please be careful.
It is recommended that you have suitable insurance to cover you in the event of an unfortunate accident. Liability
J. McLaren Services Ltd can accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, personal injury or death regardless of however incurred.
J. McLaren Services Ltd are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers and take every care and precaution in choosing the properties, photographs and accuracy of all information provided. All details are representative and for guidance only. In the event of any building works being carried out near the property hired, we will do our best to inform guests of this, but cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience that may be incurred.
No claims for costs or additional expenses will be accepted by J. McLaren Services Ltd as a result of any changes that may occur over which we have no control. PLEASE NOTE: Transport to and from the airport is not included in the price of the property. We will be happy to arrange for a taxi or car hire if you wish. Air-conditioning will be charged separately Welcome pack will be charged separately Cot and highchair hire can be arranged and will be charged separately All properties are cleaned prior to arrival, towels and bed-linen are included. Additional cleaning or change of linen can be arranged at an additional cost for stays of more than 7 days. We cannot be held responsible for any action of any of the following: Civil unrest, extreme weather or bad weather conditions, or any other circumstances that this company could not foresee i.e. war, terrorist activity, stikes etc. Complaints must be made directly to us whilst you are still on the island. These complaints must be in writing. No complaints will be accepted once you have left unless these guidelines have been followed.
